If you allow your customers to continue purchasing your products even when they are out of stock, check out this article on how to set this up in Flieber.
In brief, a backorder occurs when an order cannot be fulfilled immediately due to insufficient inventory. If you operate with backorders, you can now opt to consider them in your calculations in Flieber and check its impact on your Inventory Forecast and Replenishment Simulator.
To configure it, go to the Product Catalog page, click on 'Edit Products', and then enable the 'Backorder Support' column. Note that you can enable it for each combination of store and product.
After finishing the setup, you can check the impact on the Inventory Forecast. Flieber will calculate your Inventory Balance per day based on your forecast until the last day of stock, taking into account all inbound shipments on order.

Note that when backorder support is enabled, Flieber will consider negative inventory due to backorders in the Inventory Forecast and display the total amount of backorders for the period.
Backorders will also impact the replenishment simulator, and Flieber will provide replenishment needs, taking them into account.
