How to set products as Discontinued in Flieber
Check how you can easily edit parameters of products
A discontinued product is typically an item that a company has decided to stop producing, selling, or supporting. In supply chain planning, it’s essential to set up discontinued products correctly, as they should be excluded from future replenishment planning to avoid the risk of overstocking items that will no longer be sold, as well as to ensure accurate forecasting calculations.
In Flieber, you can flag a product as discontinued by navigating to Product Catalog > Edit Products > Locate the desired SKU > Update its status to Discontinued. You can also view the product’s status in Amazon or Shopify through a native integration.
While Flieber continues to calculate sales forecasts, inventory projections, and replenishment recommendations for discontinued products, it’s important to select “Show discontinued products” if you’d like to view these calculations in the Sales Forecast and Inventory Forecast.
