Setting your lead times in Flieber

In Flieber, you can set your production lead time and shipment lead time. For purchase orders, the lead time is calculated as the production lead time plus the shipment lead time, while for transfer orders, it is simply the shipment lead time.

Purchase Order lead time = Production lead time + Shipment Lead time
Transfer Order lead time = Shipment lead time

According to your supply chain map structure in Flieber, the system will apply the proper calculation of lead time to each of your locations.

To set them up, you need to first navigate to the settings area and click on "Manage Supplier and Lead Times".

For production lead times, click on the "Edit Supplier" button and add the suppliers, production lead times, and MOQ (if applicable) for your products.

PRO Tip: You can copy and paste the information directly from your spreadsheet into Flieber to fill in the information in bulk. Just ensure that the products are in the same order.

After creating the locations and suppliers, you will be able to add the shipment lead times between them. Click on the button "Edit Shipment lead times" and fill in the matrix. Each cell to be filled out is the shipment lead time between an origin and a destination.

Once you have added the production and shipment lead times, you will be able to check your total lead time and also assess the impact of the lead times on your inventory forecast.
